Our Getaway Weekend

I thought I would post about hubby and mine's getaway weekend!  We had a very fun time in San Antonio.  We were in a very nice hotel right on the Riverwalk.  We did a LOT of walking!  We spent over an hour in The Disney Store spending way too much money on our kids!  (pretty sad huh!- romantic getaway and we spend it in the Disney Store!)

We did have a very romantic evening the last night (and one of our few times down there we actually had a camera with us :-) )

We went to the Chart House restaurant at the top of the Tower of the Americas.  The view was AWESOME and the food was out of this world - especially the lobster bisque!!

After dinner we took a romantic horse and carriage ride around downtown.  We were in the cinderella carriage!!  The best parts was seeing the looks on little girls faces as we passed by!!  Such delight!

bad picture I know...I was trying to get the carriage and the horse, and our host who was actually dressed the part and really acted like he enjoyed his job!

It was nice to get away and relax and not hear "mama mama" 150 times a day. But it was also good to come home and see my kids.  I missed them alot!
